This week a local version of Irma passed by Belgium causing some trouble on the beach .. All C-row boats are fine, just a bit of shoveling and some muscle power and everything’s back in place..
Thanks Karel Verbeeken for the help!

Even the ergo sessions are great with C-row.. #drogehumor
Good call on deciding to cancel our Hel van Vlaanderen challenge this week-end: this experienced C-row crew broke 2 oars coming in through the surf during a test run on Sunday afternoon..
On July 8 C-row, together with the Flemish Rowing Liga, organised a day at sea for experienced rowers. For most it was the first time rowing in waves, current and salt water. Starting from our club the Windhaan in De Haan, they rowed to Oostende, had lunch in Bredene, and rowed back to De Haan. Total distance of 20 km, in challenging conditions: 4 /5 bft NE winds and choppy seas. Gathering from the big smiles this didn’t bother anyone. Everybody had a great time. Special thanks to Mark Devos and Nils Clarie, on the very wet and cold rescue boat!
C-row is preparing a new crew for their Channel crossing later this year. This video is from their first training at sea earlier this week.
